Getting ready for the big trip!

Well guys, it's true... I moved back home, and now i'm off again! I leave on March 20th, 2008 and arrive in Sevilla, Spain the next day, taking the first steps of the rest of my life. I've decided to get my certification to teach english as a foreign language. After certification, I may look for a job in Sevilla, however I will most likely look for work in South or Central America. I would love to teach under-priveledged kids and adults a skill that may help them get more opportunities out of life. Even for those who aren't necessarily "under-privelaged," I would love to help anyone achieve the education level they desire. For many people, learning English is as important a step in life as learning Spanish has become to me. In fact it may be even more important as some people are required to learn English to get ahead in their job, move to an English speaking country, acheive their citizenship in an English speaking country, or even go to college in an English speaking country. Education is very important in life, but as we all know, is not always very easy! Hopefully I can play a part in this to help better someone's life circumstances, and most importantly give something back for this wonderful life I was given. I have been truly blessed in my life, and I feel that none of this would have been possible without the grace of God, and my AMAZING family that supports all of my crazy dreams!! So, Thanks! And thanks to all of my friends who have been there to laugh with me at my inability to graduate from college! HA! I'm counting on all of your support to help me graduate from CELTA! And one of these days I'll walk that line! One step at a time!! As my dad once told me when it seemed impossible to even move, "just keep putting one foot in front of the other." So here I am, placing my big toe on the sands of Sevilla, one foot and then the other until I've reached where I was meant to be!
